Thank you, players and coaches, for pouring your hearts and lives into this game. Losses are tough but hang your heads high! That was a 3 pt away game to a hot handed Georgia team. Nothing there to be ashamed about.
Tiger nation stands behind you still. Keep up the hard work and learn from the on-field successes and defeats yesterday. We are excited to watch you grow.

There is no need to panic just yet. If we go out and lay a egg next week on D again then I would. Chavis needs to do something to get these players in the right positions to make plays on the ball. This maybe the worst LSU defense since the Curley Hallman days.

I agree with this message. Now let's get focused on beating Moo St next week come home & beat UF then we're 6-1. This team played with their hearts yesterday. The team will get better.

Yep. They fought hard and deserve to be appreciated.

I'm afraid our DBs "insticts" won't change soon. Inability to find the ball in the air looks like a trait and not just a fluke.
What I do hope improves is players knowing their assignments and not look totally lost. Let's learn where we're supposed to be first, then we can talk about making plays.

The real LSU fans are behind LSU no matter what. Unfortunately, the Rant isn't exactly the best sample of good fans.
This team has a lot to play for still and has the talent to win out. Still excited about this year.

Jesus, really?! We lost by 3, on the road vs a top 10 team, in a shootout. I'm sure the team and coaches will rest easy now.
For anyone who has given up after yesterday: go frick yourself. Seriously.

I hope that out of all of this some defensive players step up and get to work, moreso than other weeks. More tide in the film room, and become more outspoken as leaders. I haven't seen any leadership on the field. I see players waving and trying to move people into the correct position, but I just don't see anybody that will put the defense on their back and go out and make a play. Those guys need to step up this week. If so, we'll be fine. I don't expect to see a defensive performance as bad ax we saw yesterday.
Remember last year? We were putting offenses on the field that couldn't move the ball against mediocre competition, but they had flashes of brilliance. If our defense can fins that brilliance, Chaise will be able to harness it.
