Dell Demps: "We think it will be a fun season. We're looking forward to seeing our young core grow together."

Demps said Jason Smith (shoulder surgery) will be physically ready for training camp and entire team is healthy

Demps on one of the things he likes most about roster: "Most of our young core is between 23 to 25, with 4 or 5 years of NBA experience."

Monty just said that, in the last week, Gordon's doctors have finally given him full clearance to do everything.

Monty Williams says Anthony Davis finished last season at 212 - too light for an NBA power forward. Davis is now a stronger 230.

Wonder how Ryan's doing and if he's ready to go?

Did he just say, "That should be a fine," to the guy who's phone rang?

Williams says when CP3, David West, Willie Green left, the team lost the ultra competitiveness.

Monty mentioned possibility of Tyreke Evans coming off bench with Ryan Anderson and Jason Smith could be intriguing combination.

Monty said plan is for Tyreke Evans to come off bench and play some at PG, SG and SF. Projects to play Evans 28 to 30 minutes a game

He averages 35mpg over his career. Seems like he should be getting more than that.

I think in one of Monty's interview he came pretty close to calling Stiemsma a dirty player, but he meant it in a good, throwback way. So if the goal is to bang down low to save wear and tear on Davis then he'll be starting for sure. The biggest problem I see with it is your spacing could be bad with Aminu and Stiemsma being even less offensively gifted than Ariza and Okafor.

Must be from the increased bench pressing.
