Garrett Brumfield on playing in Under Armour game

Brumfield is a Rivals100 presented by Under Armour prospect (90th overall) and the nation's No. 3-rated offensive guard.
Brumfield possesses a rare combination of strength, size, athleticism and high football IQ that has transformed him into one of the nation's top offensive line prospects going into this recruiting season, and he hasn't disappointed three weeks into his senior season.
"This year I've seen him become that leader, and he has that charisma of somebody you want," Mahaffey said. "I think his teammates have responded to him. I think they're confident in him. He offers a lot to our team."
To Wildman, Garrett is a very impressive young man.

I've coached football for 22 years and have coached against him several times and watched a lot of his film. He's the most relentless high school o-lineman I have ever seen. NEVER takes a play off and drives to the whistle every down. Demoralizing for the defender.

I echo my comments regarding DM.
I am excited not only about the athletic ability he brings to the team, but the character and class he brings to the program. Happy about not only his involvement but his family's too.
Knowing young men like Garrett will be wearing the same colors as i do makes me proud to wear the purple and gold.

He is a great kid, from a great family. Got to talk with him for a few minutes after the game last night. Very well spoken, polite, and funny as heck. Check out some of the U Tube videos he's made if you doubt me. He represents our HS so well, and will do the same for the Tigers. I'm thrilled we are going to get to watch him for another 4 years.

Met this kid personally. He is extremely respectful and loves the game. LSU has a good one in this kid.
