first CD was pretty good. everything since was pretty meh. live act is the most horrific thing i've ever seen.

Not sure how I feel about the new album. I'm not big on Cool Song No 2. My favorite song off it so far is Introspection which is a Faine Jade cover. I obviously liked Oracular Spectacular and I feel I am one of the few to like Congratulations (Siberian Breaks is a dope song) but this album went in a completely different direction than the previous two. I'll reserve my judgement until I give this album a few more listens.
Also, they were a good show live when I saw them. Seems like everyone else has had a bad experience with this band which is a shame.

I used to think Flash Delirium and Kids were the weirdest videos I had seen but this one might be my new #1. Didn't like the song much.

I have seen the video and don't care for it or the song.
MGMT was way better when they just wrote songs that happened to become massive hits instead of trying to write songs that wont become hits in the slightest and claiming "we don't want to write pop songs".
Congratulations has dogshit and they're obviously trying to hard to avoid the spotlight by titling a song "Cool Song No. 2"

I couldn't disagree with you more. They seem to be a fairly polarizing band.
