So I'm bored and figured I'd waste my life playing a computer game. It's been years since I've played a video game so I don't even know what's out there. I used to play Command & Conquer when I was a kid. I liked that. Is there anything like that out there now? Preferably something I can download online, I don't feel like going to a store.

Buy the whole C&C set from the Origin Store. It was like $20.

Civilization V and it has two DLCs (Brave new world and gods and kings).

You can find it around the intrawebs for $5 or so (base game)

Well if you're on PC and have some time, go to Steam and try a few demos.

I'm still partial to to the half-life, TF2, and Portal series.

You have the original game, then they add on with DLC {downloadable content}

Unfortunately some companies are now skimping on the original game and pushing content to DLC so they get more cash money.

I'd also recommend Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty if you want a RTS game with a good single player story line and a lot of mission variety.

You can get the base game without the "Heart of the Swarm" expansion for 20 bucks. I wouldn't get "Heart of the Swarm" until you've played through the main game and are certain you like it.
