Never was in doubt. He's had the best tour year of anyone. Not the best Majors, but hard to argue with:

A five-time winner this season, Woods captured two World Golf Championships (Doral, Firestone) and The Players, and finished second in the season-long FedEx Cup. No other player had more than two PGA Tour titles.

That's fine, but that's not what the award considers.

None.

But, appreciate the achievement and the climb from the bottom (which will one day be heralded as one of his many great feats).

Many said he would never win again. He changed his swing, dropped out of the top 50 world golf rankings, and then he came back.

8 Wins in the last two years - that's more wins than Dustin Johnson, Kuchar, Snedekar, McIlroy, Luke Donald, Hunter Mahan, and Justin Rose have in their careers.

Literally no one said this...

Many people said he would never win a major again. Which he has yet to do...
