As he should be. He has some very valid arguments. The organization just can't own up and say this is a coaching issue, not a Freeman issue (even though Freeman is part of the problem, but not enough to be benched).

Booger is super mad. He just called out Schiano saying the "Friedman's" completion percentage was 61% until schiano got there. He said this is a CYA by Schiano and it hurts the organization, but it was a good cya move for schiano. Called schiano a liar too.

Schiano said the main goal of every organization is to win and benching Freeman gives the Bucs the best opportunity to win.

Suck it, Miyagi.

What else would Freeman have had to have done before he deserved to be benched?

Lulz

What's he supposed to say??

"We don't think that Glennon is very good, but we are a 5 win team at best. May as well pack in for the season, and see what he has to offer before next the off season."

And Booger having a fit is a great sign that this is a smart move.

He didn't get an extension this offseason and he wasn't selected as a capt. Seems like he's pouting in the corner now, rather than working harder.

McFarland

The failure of a DT that was supposed to be Sapp's replacement when he left.

Do I have you mixed up with someone else? I thought you were a Bucs fan?

He's some kind of bitch.

Never accepts any responsibility for his frick ups.

I've never seen a QB bitch at his receivers as frequently as he does after failed drives.

yeah, this is a contract year for Freeman.

looks like he doesn't care about his future.

The Bucs have some pieces on their offense that would allow him to succeed.

they were 6-4 in the middle of November last year, then they fell apart.

Freeman got picked off 4 times two games in a row vs. the Saints and the Rams during that losing streak.

he blew it.

exactly every coach says this. it doesn't mean shite. it's teaching a lesson and making a point.

just like the dodgers this year benched PUIG for his antics during a game for freaking skip shumaker.. then after the game all he said was

"i felt skip gave us the best chance to win at that point"

no skip does not, but it's about making a point no guy is bigger than the team. and the ultimate goal is to either humble em or cut em loose. there's obviously something going on in house.

I think this was the right move for the organization (unlike Booger).

I don't think we know enough about Glennon to make any judgements but I don't think this will end well but it at least gets him off our plate as a possible for next season.

The revolving door of veteran and young QBs has to end in Tampa.

Shaun King
Brad Johnson
Brian Griese
Chris Simms
Bruce Gradowski
Jeff Garcia
Josh Freeman

7 majority starters since 2000 not to mention guys like Rob Johnson, Tim Rattay, Luke McCown, Josh Johnson & Byron Leftwich who all had multiple starts during those years too bringing it to 12 qbs since 2000.

I loved watching Glennon at NC State. He may have been skinnier than Tyler Bray, but he's got a hell of an arm and I always thought he would be a good pro QB

One of these days, they will get their franchise guy.

The law of averages says they have to, right?

FWIW Brad Johnson was awesome.

I know most will but I won't disagree with that. He's one of the most accurate passers to ever play the game and is a great game manager. Of course his skill of being a great game manager worked well with having a great defense.

Of course that needs to align with having guys like Vincent Jackson & Doug Martin around him.

Dude spent the 2002 season on his arse, but protected the ball, and really came to play once the playoffs rolled around.

He put up big numbers for Minnesota...... Well, big for that period.
