Wish we had Schiano when all we needed was one win in the last four games to get a playoff berth.

Smiley was hurt yet the HC wouldn't play Delhomme.

Sorry about the bad memories Saints fans.

Freeman has not played well and does not want to play under Schiano. We can all agree on that.

So what's the point of plugging in Glennon? To play the future? Glennon isn't even ready to play, much less start. And why are you planning the future after dropping 100+ million in the offseason?

My biggest issue has been with the stupid TB fans trying to throw Freeman under the bus instead of realizing that the biggest issue is Schiano, not Freeman.

Don't care if you're joking or not.

You need to go away.

It's your fault they blew the Saints game.

I have never heard of Glennon.

Can he play, or will he be an embarrassment?

Do you actually believe dropped passes account for his monumental number of turnovers

I'm not arguing that his turnovers haven't been issue. Jesus christ. Some of you are fricking dull. It's not like the Bucs have fricking Joe Montana sitting on the bench.

I don't like Freeman either and never have. He's their best option to win and the Bucs fans that think otherwise are delusional.

He wanted out prior to Schiano being here.

To get an idea of whether or not Glennon is capable of being a starter in the future.

We know Freeman isn't.

These players are part of the future. They would not have been there in 2014.

Are you this dumb?

While I'm not the biggest Schaino fan (actually many Bucs fans are completely fed up with him), he inherited a pile of shite from the worst HC this league has seen in a long time.

The cornerstone of this shitstorm was a whiny, stupid, inaccurate, turnover machine of a QB.

Bitch about Schiano all you want, but this defense is fricking light years ahead of where they were 19 games ago. They gave zero fricks under Morris. They play hungry under Schiano.

Glennon is not an NFL QB. You'll see this weekend.

Doesn't matter. It's not just a performance issue here. It's an internal situation and they want to part ways.

Nobody's even arguing that.

You don't understand how this league works.

You should shut up and just observe.

They were responsible for every point that the Bucs scored in that game.

The offense was able to pull one TD out of their arse when they had a 30 yard field to go.

Do you even remember this game?

Win what? Seven games? Using your own point, they didn't spend 100 million to do that either.

It isn't difficult to understand that they want to see what they have in Glennon...and if by some miracle they do have something, he goes through his growing pains this season. There is also the possibility (albeit exceptionally unlikely) that this is a last ditch effort to light a fire under Freeman to get his act together.

Freeman's season numbers
quote:

59.3 rating, 45.7 percent completions, 6.1 YPA, 2 TD, 3 INT

Preseason numbers:

With Freeman certain to leave (his contract expires after this season and he doesn't seem to want to return), they might as well see if Glennon has potential. I'm pretty sure they did the same thing with Freeman as a rookie (although it was later in the season).
