Going into the Georgia game, ZM has targeted Landry and Beckham almost exclusively. Those two combine for almost 90% of all receiving yards, receptions, targets and receiving touchdowns. Four games in, do you think this is just who we are as a team? Or do you think Cameron has plans for more as we progress through the SEC schedule?

I know it's working now and Mett has an incredible chemistry with his two primary WRs, but I would love to see some success at running back screens, tight end passes and routes run from the slot position. What do you think- is our passing identity solely a two option system? And if so, do you think we can still beat other elite teams using this model?

Landry and Beckham have been dominating out of 2 WR sets. If people aren't going to stop them, then keep throwing it to them.

TE position is going to come up big in the future. Will Landry and Beckham playing so well, safeties will be called on to help on the outside, leaving Dickson open over the middle. As happened on Saturday.

A) why try and fix what ain't broken (or being covered)

B) the year is young

C) we HAVE been seeing the RB's and TE's become slightly more involved.

D) to continue point C... I think that's more of Mett's continued improvement instead of play calling. We will see more.

I can see us changing it up a lot this game. You also have to play what the defense gives you. If that means you throw it to one of the two great receivers we have, then what's wrong?

We'll be fine. This is a smoothly run offense.

when we are forced to go to WR#3 and TEs, we will. If the defense doesn't make us do it, we'll continue to beat people with 2 WRs.

Exactly. No one bitches about going to Megatron or Jimmy Graham too much. Not exactly the same but you get my drift.

It would be nice to see a wheel route using JHill. Hes got exceptional hands and I haven't seen too many passes to the RB this season. Quite a few to the FB, tho.

Travis Dickson was so wide open on that seam route against Auburn that he almost fell down out of sheer loneliness. We will see plays like that at big moments going forward now, methinks.

Some of that is by design, IMO. I don't know that I've seen a route combintion designed to free the WR3 and we simply haven't called on the TEs yet.
It's coming.

Did Dural have any catches against AU? I don't recall any, but I could be overlooking something. Dural played, right?

If they are open, they get the ball. Quite a simple concept.

Will WR3/TE be Cam's Ray Rice at LSU?

I think Dural had one or two, if I remember correctly.

I'd like to see Hill sharpen those pass blocking skills.

Dural didn't play. Boone did.

I went to the stats. Dural didn't have a catch.

REC YDS AVG TD LG
J. Landry 7 118 16.9 1 32
O. Beckham 5 59 11.8 0 22
T. Dickson 1 45 45.0 0 45
J. Copeland 1 7 7.0 0 7
Team 14 229 16.4 1 45

I recall that Boone had a drop. Was he playing because Dural was injured, or was it a coaching decision?
