Cameron Wake looking iffy for Monday night (ETA: Possibly out 2-3 weeks)

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports Dolphins LE Cameron Wake has been diagnosed with a "mild" MCL sprain.
Even a "mild" MCL sprain could cost Wake multiple games, but it's still good news. Wake missed the final three quarters of Sunday's win over the Falcons, and should be considered doubtful for next Monday's showdown with the Saints for the time being. Wake has 2.5 sacks through his first three games.

Would make things a lot easier on us.

The South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports Dolphins LE Cameron Wake (knee) will likely miss 2-3 weeks.
We usually don't post "reports" from the Sun-Sentinel because its football coverage is the least reliable in the nation, but several other media outlets have ran with this story. We'd just take it with a grain of salt. At one point in the "report", it's written Wake could miss "at least a week or two," and later it states Wake will "likely" be sidelined "two to three weeks." CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reported earlier Wake has a "mild" MCL sprain, and is seen more as day to day. If Wake misses any time, it will be a significant blow to Miami's edge rush. The Fins travel to the Superdome in Week 4.

MCL sprains are tricky...lots of knee instability with those, even mild sprains...
Out of conference opponent, playing on monday night, Buffalo and the Pats in town in the next 3 games...
He not gonna play

Yeah it would be smart for them to rest him for the divisional games.

Would be huge. But as long as Brees isn't getting pressure right up the middle, I think we should be fine.

Ian Rapoport ?@RapSheet 43s
#Dolphins pass-rusher Cameron Wake does have an MCL sprain, I'm told. Bye is 2 games away. Conservative approach may hold him out until then

latest this evening is 1 game out almost certain, up to 3 if they nurse it conservatively. Definitely a major blow for them. Things like this remind me that great years always have a portion of good luck attached. The mojo is warming up.

Their pass rush scared me going into this game, if Wake is out then i'm pretty confident this game could turn in to the usual trashings we hand out on home MNF games. Which I desperately need having lived in Phins country most of my life.

Except now the Fins have a seriously legit quarterback for the first time in forever.
