I think he earned some PT in the next few weeks. what say you? Will Payton allow it. Or reinstate the "toe"?

It was obvious that the plan was spreading the defense out, getting them gassed, and then running it. They're a big and stout in the middle. I think we ran like 2-3 times in the first half. The draw back to this play was Brees got hit quite a lot, which I don't care for.

im the biggest Khiry fan here

but SP played it well. There wasn't a spot early enough to get him in. Our RBs werent getting worked enough to get tired

when we took the lead you dont want him in and possibly fumbling.

We're introducing slowly because of his fumble issues.
Maybe.

uh huh. I like putting him in basically with the W to run out out the clock. Although we didn't know if he'd be sucessful doing it. Regardless if the defense was gassed or not he looked good, fresh of course, and the best solution vs. that defensive front. I would like to see him get some meaningful pt to see if he's the real deal.

Looked to have the most burst out of every RB not named Sproles.

well they knew we were running it, and he drug his nuts on them. It was impressive to me. Dont be surprised if he challenges for ROY

i said it back in the preseason. He just has it. He should be our starting RB. He'll get his chance and not look back.

But will he play ahead of Ingram when he returns?

He may have ROY talent but he'll never get enough touches in this offense. We spread it around too much

It's hard to argue. Say what you want about when he came into the game...he was shaking off tacklers like flies and he doesn't look that big. He saw the holes and hit them fast

ROY? A rookie back splitting time with PT and sproles won't get the touches. He certainly looks good.

Really, the only thing to worry about with him once he fixes the fumble bug is injuries.

If he turns out to be a Chris Ivory clone that doesn't get injured, he'll be incredible.

The guy definitely showed well, but I'm not sure if Payton is going to give him opportunities early next week against Miami unless the ground game as a whole is clicking.

I hope you're right. He certainly has the talent. The touches are the issue.
