I put this in the 2015 thread also. This kid is about to get some interest from LSU.
He's hurt right now, with a collarbone injury, but will be back in two weeks.

West Mesquite and Mesquite Horn have some serious talent
thats normally A&M territory so it will take a lot to lure them

The senior safety from WM is solid to TAMU. He's legit.
The QB is wide open.

I'll get a chance to see Horn this Friday.
My local team, Rockwall, plays them. Their coach left Horn this offseason to come to Rockwall.
On a related note, Rockwall RB Chris Warren (2015), who is pretty much going to have his pick of schools, went down with a knee injury last week and is done for the season.
Also, Chason Virgil has been in contact with he LSU staff. I'll update this when I know more, but it's very likely he gets an offer. He'll play sparingly this week against a terrible Terrell team, in his first game back after a week 2 collar bone injury.

This guy looks great. Pocket awareness, ball placement, vision and escapability all look fantastic. Size is the only concern, but he'll get bigger I believe. Good looking prospect.

To update. Ensminger was by West Mesquite this week to talk to the WM coach and Virgil.
So were Chad Morris and Sumlin.
I think Clemson and Auburn lead for him right now.
