Alabama pass rush

My guess is that they are playing very vanilla, while they also had to face Manziel, but does anyone who watches Alabama a lot know why they only have a total of three sacks in three games?

I don't know, but I think we better practice on seeing and blocking the corner blitz before we go there. Mett has been hammered a few times with it already this year.

Bama doesn't have a pass rush. Some of that is playing a 3-4 defense, but they haven't had a NFL caliber pass rusher in years.

Bama is not that good. Shocking, I know. They're living off their reputation this year. If we play well, we'll expose them. Ole Miss may do it before we get to them, too.

This. Saban will generate pressure when necessary. He hasn't needed exotic blitzes yet, since CSU and VT couldn't score and you don't want to blitz JFF. Mett is a stationary target and Saban has made a living getting after guys like that.
