Seems there are fewer tackles on defense where we see the offensive player knocked backward; far fewer big hits. Perhaps it is just me, but more often it seems our defenders this year just sort of hop on for the two to three yard ride as the offensive player usually just kind of goes down due to the weight at his ankles. There was that one tackle last night by Barrow where he hit auburns qb pretty hard. I definitely miss Brockers in the middle. I swear no one got past that dude without getting lit up. So, yeah, I miss the likes of Reid on defense.

Eric Reid was my favorite player from that era. Loved the character that came with his beast mode talent.
