CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports league sources believe Mark Ingram may soon ask the Saints for a trade.
Ingram's role in the Saints' backfield is "nebulous," and the Saints have five tailbacks on their current 53-man roster. They could move forward with impressive UDFA Khiry Robinson behind Darren Sproles and Pierre Thomas. An Ingram trade could work to everyone's benefit. He could have more fantasy value in a different offense, and his departure from the Nola would help Thomas.

Oh he mad alright
@LarryHolder: I made a request all week to talk with Mark Ingram through the Saints. He never made himself available to speak despite the Saints' efforts.

I don't know if there happens to be a defensive player we could possibly want from a team needing a RB, but that would be nice.

Please let this happen.

Rotoworld with the big picture of what an NFL organization is first and foremost looking for with a trade.
