Ok so me and my dad have always talked about going to some premier league games for a week or so and finally booked our flights and our lodging for 11/30-12/8...Looking at those dates these are the games we are going to try and shoot for. I know the process of getting tickets for sporting events is different over there and would love to hear some advice on the best way to go about getting tickets for these games, or if some of these are a bad idea maybe a good other stadium to visit.

11/30- Everton vs Stoke Goodison
12/1- Tottenham vs Man United WHL (This is the one that I think we will have problems with)
12/3- Crystal Palace vs West Ham Selhurst Park
12/4- Fulham vs Tottenham Craven Cottage
12/7- Liverpool vs West Ham Anfield

Also any must places to eat or see while we are there, or just any travel advice in general would be greatly appreciated! To the soccer board for always coming through

Definitely go. The atmosphere was amazing. You can get seats for like 22 pounds each and you don't need a membership card or any crap like that. Public transportation gets you about a thousand yards away from CC and you walk with all the other cottagers there. Cool experience.

You should come out to Wales and say 'hi.'

Plenty of others within a short train ride. Dont spend all your time in london. Trains are cheap, run on time and several stadia ate within close walking distance to the station. Had a really good time at a Norwich match. Good pubs and restraunts close by on the riverside and a Holiday inn attatched to the pitch if you want to overnight.

Gotta do Anfield first choice. Then Craven next.

That would be my choices...

PS - Do not make the mistake of ordering a hamburger anywhere in England. Its literally horse or mule meat, disgusting. Stick to the fish n chips. Also good Thai everywhere food if you like that.

actually yes, some teams do let their season ticket holders sell on stub hub, but a season ticket is usually a card that you re-use every game it basically cuts out the secondary market

Just like in the good ole USA you will find tickets avalable outside any venue you choose to attend. Price will depend on how many seats are left.

Maybe you'll get to see Michael before he is removed.

Spotted dick ftw.

So general sale tickets for Liverpool west ham went on sale 30 min ago...finally got through after 15 min, but was too late

Got the crystal palace tickets and the Fulham Tottenham tickets, but really wanted to go to Anfield. Anyone have any advice for a different route to try? Thanks again and will post a pic thread when I get back

In my limited experience it's not quite like the USA but it is possible. Be prepared to deal with a lot of shadiness though.
