CFN's Fiutak on LSU's offense

In his weekly "Final Thoughts" before the weekend's game, Pete Fiutak (one of the best college football writers in the business) had this to say about this year's offense AND how close we've been over the past two years.
"I’m not going to argue if you want to make a case that LSU is the best team in college football in 2013. This offense, with a healthy line, receivers who can actually run routes now, an improved and sharp Zach Mettenberger and a fantastic running game, is a thing.
"Remember, there but for an all-timer of a break in 2011, and an AJ McCarron drive in 2012, we’re probably talking right now about the No. 1 ranked LSU Tigers and their quest for a threepeat."

I posted about this situation yesterday. This is an edited version
LSU would have been the dynasty and looking right down the barrel in 2013 at either Jennings/Rivers starting, or Mett coming back for another year.
quote:
In 2009 in addition to 18 total touchdowns and 2300 total yards in a game and a half less than Mett, JJ was the #2 redzone QB in the freaking nation!
My projection of JJ in 2010 with Cam, would be 2600 yards 24TDs 400 rushing yards 5TDs. 14-0 vs Oregon
My prediction of Lee with Cam the following year would be 3400 yards 32TDs. 14-0 vs OK St (we would have beat Bama by more than 10 at their house)
If Mett played or Lee stayed, they both would have went over 3k and 30TDs 14-0 vs ND
We were the #11 ranked defense in 2010, 2nd in 2011, and 9th in 2012. Cam would have made us winners man. In the reg season of 2010, we lost by 1 TD to two teams each and no teams in 2011. In 2012 we lost to one team by a TD, another by 4 points. A serviceable QB gets us to the NCG three years in a row.

Because we had so much time to find a replacement for Krags

Isn't it funny that bengalroar is criticizing Les for being stupid when in reality he is the stupid one because Les did hire an OC.
