Ronald Martin lost his father last Friday. Out of respect I waited until the obituary was published to post, so sorry if germans. I've been told his father asked him not to miss a game this season.

Wow...

I'm not religious but thoughts are sent his way. If he plays for his pops tomorrow, I hope he has a lights out game. Be strong my friend!

I feel terrible for vocally blasting his play last Saturday.

Captain Buzzkill over here just fricked up my Friday.

I wasn't gonna go there, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to post this while so many where questioning his focus. Can't imagine losing my dad and still being able to function.

Prayers sent to the Martin family, losing a father at 40 is way too young. As a cancer survivor it really saddens me to see how many are losing their battles no matter how hard they fight.

Cancer sucks. Hopefully Martin can get through this, not just football wise

yeap, and our fans love to tare kids down for not playing up to par. They are human, just like the rest of us.

I knew they were dealing with family issues, just didnt know it was this serious.

My heart goes out to Martin, a true Tiger.

Remarkable courage from a loving father . . .

Prayers lifted for our Father in heaven bring healing and comfort to Ronald's family.

Prayers sent! Sorry to hear this. I lost my sister last year to cancer at the age of 44. It is just devastating at such a young age.

wow what a terrible thing to hear. I hope Martin can make it through this ok. Hopefully he has plenty of support from his football family, which I am sure he does, to help him!
