noticed that too. LaGrange is outside of Atlanta off I-85, actually not far from Auburn.

This is the stuff that makes the Tiger fam special...not the so-called cool stuff, but real life stuff like this...and this is not a unique story at LSU...look back in history and you will see more of the same...thanks to Les and the Tiger family approach...special!

Met his mom before the Auburn game last year. She was very friendly and texted JC that he was my friend's favorite player

It's impossible to not root for these guys.

This story is great, and so is Connor Neighbor's family story. So many great angles to latch onto.

Man, thanks for posting.

Two unique and very likable personal stories about LSU's fullbacks.

I was unaware of his background. What a beautiful story. Thank you for sharing it. I already liked the guy a lot, but now I really want him to make it in the NFL.

I didn't know this. Very cool.

I met JCs mom at a game. She was very nice and wore a jersey that said JC's momma on the back.

I am sure we have a couple "blindside" kids. I know Davenport was one up in Mansfield

Wow. Never knew about this story. I can't imagine how emotionally tough his decision was to go pro or stay another year. I'm sure deep down he's to help his real family asap.

Great story. And JC converted some Dawg fans into Tigers.
