Proposed coal industry rules could kill

Not just the industry. We're talking the potential to kill people.

Let me guess, some Obama big money contributor operates a company manufacturing carbon capture technology.

The EPA is the most useful agency for carrying out a president's bidding. These are dangerous people.

Next step after mandating the use is to sue the coal industry for the damaged it caused.

First thought that popped into my head as well.

Truth
People who called themselves communists in the 50's now call themselves environmentalists.

Though he said the carbon would be stable in the long-term, the chief concern would be that in its initial state "as a big bubble of gas," it might leak to the surface. He seemed to describe those concerns as legitimate.
How can people be this stupid?

You're absolutely correct sir. GW/CC is a powerful concept that can separate people/businesses from their money and property, and is only suffering a temporary defeat until the Sun warms up again.

And how do they justify this now, with the whole Global Warming meme falling apart.

Everybody that has their name on this crap had best have tickets out of this country, when the SHTF. Cause there will be some serious witch-hunts taking place, in the wake of all the pain and suffering.

See, they've won over Powerman, how can it be "falling apart"?

Oh I don't buy into the disaster scare tactics shit

But I do think it's pretty clear that there is about as close to a consensus as you can get among scientists in the field that the earth is warming.

shite even the thread here claiming to discredit it clearly shows a warming trend. It's just not warming as much as some of the computer models predicted. And no computer model will ever be right.

And you might want to look at my comments in that thread for some not so stupid insight as to why the computers could have all overshot the estimate the way that they did.

BTW on topic: I also think this is a terrible idea. I just think some people jump to too many rash conclusions based on preconceived notions about things. Most of which are just based on some sort of illogical religious adherence to political orthodoxy.

Wrong, P. I did buy into the temperature rise...it felt that way out in my garden. And I bought the polar ice thing too. And strange enough back in the Global Winter days (early 70's I think), I believed that too...though my rational processes were altered by various perceptive chemical-based mechanisms.

One thing is the same, and that is the mindset of the folk who were and are behind such. It's people who think EVERYBODY should hold the same values that they do, and they attempt to promote and implement their values through manipulating State mechanisms. For the common good...of course.

Like I've hinted to some of my Green friends...if this economy tanks big time (like it will if current policy is continued)...it won't be the sun that heats this place up. It'll be your starving and desperate fellow humans. And it won't take 50 years...more like 50 days.

Right. Like people who oppose gay marriage, recreational drug use, pornography, prostitution, and other such things that they don't agree with.

Enforcing morality on other people isn't anything exclusive to the left or to the right. At least with the environmental shite there is a chance for there to be some tangible benefit to mankind (albeit probably not in this case)

Hyperbole

Please reference the original thread for some of my comments. I'm not explaining it all over again.

Point is, it IS warming.

Just as it has been warming for the past 15,000 years since the last ice age.

re: Proposed coal industry rules could kill

Watched , The Obama decption on Youtube last night after continually being urged to by friends who are both republicans and democrats , and I was stunned at the accuracy of things said in this film as pertaining to current events..... And I preface this with the cliche , I always thought Alan Jones was a bit cuckoo.

The movie really isn't an Obama bashing movie at all , it's about how the bankers & wallstreeter types from all around the world have been running everything for the last 100 years , the name , The Obama deception , infers that a person like Obama ( first black president will be given miles of slack , where others wouldn't by the media and the peoples of the U.S.A.) could get things done in the final push by the globalist and money horders that an insder or white person could never get away with.

This movie bashes all presidents after JFK ( not JFK ) and many before save Ike.

So the title is deceiving , lots on the left and right will find this movie intriguing.

And there are a hell of a lot of facts backing this up.

Not sold 100 percent ,but a lot of things you think might be BS, is advertised in headlines in , lets say, weekly or monthly periodicals put out by these very groups , sort of under the radar , but it's there nonetheless.

Some things in this 2009 film , carbon taxes , coal mines will be taxed out of business , a guy stating in 2009 that global warming was a hoax, 4 years later we all know G.W. as a hoax , Obama showed his hand on coal , and the globalist actually have proposed carbon taxes.

Like I said , I am not sold 100 percent , but this movie is thought provoking and attacks both parties as sell outs.
