Going to the quarter this weekend and the wife wants to go to a brunch either Sat. or Sun morning music preferred but not necessary. Any suggestions?

For high end, go with arnauds. More casual is Stanley's

Love Stanley's, but it doesn't have live music. R'evolution does a nice Sunday brunch, and also has a band, featuring Don Vappie (great N.O. jazz guitarist).

The Rib Room, in the Omni Orleans, has always been enjoyable.

Whatever you do, go where you can get a reservation and try for a reservation soon if you are going this weekend. Available reservations might make the decision for you.

You've gotten some good recs. Arnaud's, Mr B's and Muriel's all have music. Tom Fitzmorris has a list of restaurants open on Sundays for brunch and lunch by area. Doesn't specify brunch or lunch nor music, but it might be helpful to you. www.nomenu.com. It's also not updated regularly, but for the most part, it's useful.

Get out of the quarter. Take the street car down St. Charles and go to Atchafalaya.
