This is a 32 year old RB who is coming off a broken leg and torn MCL last November. He has barely participated in competitive football drills since then. Just last week the Giants decided to resign Brandon fricking Jacobs over McGahee after having both try out.

Maybe there is a miracle to be had here. But don't expect him to be productive any time soon, if ever.

More talented than TRich RIGHT now?? Not 10 years ago, but today. Not more talented than TRIch, and TRich didnt do shite in Cleveland. Why should Willis?

Snagged him up dropping Ingram. Think I was just tired of seeing Ingram on my bench was the main reason.

Better than Hillman on my bench, and he is a FA vs Waivers so I know I can snag him vs Snelling/Starks

Super talent? Now? Ha

Richardson is much more talented than Mcgahee and couldn't do shite there. If you're desperate I guess he's worth an add

Also Jacobs new the offense, that's more of the reason he was signed. I agree with the injuries, he had knee surgery that ended his season last year.

Ill say that the Brown's have a better Oline than the Colts.

I would imagine the Giants going with Jacobs had a little something to do with Coughlin already knowing him and Jacobs having knowledge of the playbook.

Individually, yes. But, even if you have a great OL, you cant run the ball successfully in th NFL with 9-10 men in the box. Every team does that against the Browns because they dont respect the passing game.

Every team respects the Colts passing game with Luck, Reggie, TY, Fleener, etc. Less players in the box, more DBs,etc. Easier to run against 6 in the box than 9. And the addition of TRich helps them staying unpredictable.

I spoke with a Giants scout about the third week of the preseason.

Coaches and talent evaluators never wanted Jacobs to leave.

The scout valued Jacobs way over Brown.

The way the scout spoke of Jacobs it was no surprise to me that he was signed instead of Jacobs.
