I am not an NFL fan and just wondered where he was at with making a team.

Nobody offered him a contract this year.

He'll never play again. He's going to end up just another broke former NFLer.

At this point it would take a miracle for him. Like over half the league losing QBs. He has his money. He can sit back and retire.

He wouldn't even play in the arena league. Obviously teams are questioning if he can still even play the position.

From what it seems like he's working his arse off to get back into the NFL but doesn't want to play in another league first. Since he didn't try to go play in the CFL I wonder if he's given up.

I still hope he gets a shot next season. I mean, he can't be worse than Blaine Gabbert, right?

He was on track to make a team, but messed his knee up while training.

He is still working hard and hasnt put back on any bad weight.

Like nasty said, the reports are that he has a bad knee. Not too many people talking about it.

Actually, he said he would play CFL if he doesn't get on with NFL.

And I've heard he hurt his knee which is making it hard for him to keep the weight off.

if Jamarcus sticks with the CFL for a couple of years and does well there are plenty of NFL teams that are looking for a quarterback. I hope he can make a turnaround, the guy has pro talent, we'll see if he has the work ethic needed to make it.

I guess being a old NFLer is more Than I will ever be

As far as Saban to Texas I guess I will just say thanks if he leaves and wish him luck and a good life. He did a lot for Alabama and LSU also. He needs to do what makes him happy, it's his life to live.

Jamarcus actually saved me from having a wreck a month or two ago. He's a really nice guy. I wish him the best. He seems pretty modest nowadays. He'll be millionaire for a while.

Unfortunately, I can't recall one QB that failed in the NFL and made a return.

"Failed" might be a strong word, but:

Flutie did not fail but Ditka has admitted that Flutie really wasnt given a fair shot in Chicago. Oh and McMahon treated him like dirt.

JR was a boss while at LSU, don't care that he was a bust in the NFL, it'd be interesting to see what he would of done his senior season had he stayed
