How much should a 42 x 20 slab cost?


Materials and labor? 4 in thick and no footing.

I had one about that size done for $1000 cash. Found a guy on craigslist. They did a great job. Formed and poured cleaned up all in one afternoon.

You'll need 11 yards of concrete, that's $1200-1300. $2k-$2500 sounds like a good price for labor, materials, and concrete.

Yep. Tied into existing slab with rebar and laid steel mesh for the slab. They use that concrete that has the fibers in it, not sure of the actual name, but from what I have been told it's pretty good stuff. I have been having it a year, no cracks or anything.

42×20×0.333÷27=10.36 yards at $110 yard is about $1150 just in concrete. Then another $1.50 sq. Ft labor. 820 x 's $1.50 is $1230

So you right about $2380. Budget $2500 and you'll be fine.
