Been wanting to get in since the IPO, but ordinarily I'm wary of IPO's, especially after the initial jump. Am I missing the boat by waiting until it's back until the $25 range?

Not sure when that will be:

I do business with them and some of their personnel believe they are on an upswing that is just starting.

Talked about it on Cramer tonight. I bought some more yesterday and it's up 4.15% after hours on Cramer's recommendation. My avg per share is 30.47.

Then you have never worked in the O&G industry, or know much about the industry, much less at Franks if you feel that way. I represent my chevron and shell clients at franks all the time. I wish they would have went public years ago.

I briefly looked at it.

Saw some one time negative hits for the quarter but nothing too bad.

Don't know what estimates were and if they missed.

ETA:

Now I see the issue:

quote:

“As we look towards the end of the year, we expect our annual revenues to be flat when compared to our record year in 2012, in which we grew 43 percent. Increases in offshore drilling activity that we had anticipated for the third and fourth quarters along with declines in our U.S. onshore business have lowered our expectations for the near-term.”

Are they saying they anticipated more offshore drilling than is actually occurring?
