Little known places in S. Louisiana

Are there any places you think not many people know about that may be kinda cool to go visit?
I know i'm not the only one who knows about the Pet Cemetery on Swamp Road but it's not a well known place.

I don't' want to be buried in a Pet Cemetery.
I don't want to live my life again.

is it still there? Heard they were going to remove it a while back.

Used to go to Morleys back there on the intracoastal and party on Sundays all the time.

The chalmette battlefield is pretty cool. For those who don't know its where Andrew Jackson kicked arse in the battle of new orleans.

We fired our guns but the British kept a comin
There wasn't as many as there were a while ago...
We fired once a more and they began a runnin
Down the Mississippi to the gulf of mexico!

Speaking of forts. There is that one across from fort Jackson down 23. Only accessible by boat.
