Should I pick up Phillip Rivers?

I have Tom Brady as my QB but he has been productive with the lack of weapons. So should I pick up Rivers who seems to be pretty hot right now?

That's my biggest fear. I had Rivers last year and he consistently screwed me over by throwing tons of picks, but he seems to maybe have gotten over that. I sat mike wallace last week (ppr league) and that bit me in arse as well.
