Saw them at Hangout two years ago. One of my more "emo" friends really wanted to see them. It was better than I expected. Not sure if I'd see them again though.

Never heard of them before..not too bad. Sort of remind me of MuteMath. I will listen to more. Any other songs that you recommend?

I hate emo with a passion...but I love Minus the Bear's entire album Highly Refined Pirates.
In fact, it's one of my top 5 favorite albums from the 2000s.

I don't think MTB is "emo" music. I first heard that song "Knights" around that time and was hooked immediately, but didn't think it was this that genre lol.

but they put on a pretty boring show IMO
I won tickets 2 years ago from dig magazine to the varsity show and gave them to my cousin and went to nola that night
