Demps did his usual say a lot without saying anything. Most significant bits were he talked about how great the new facility is, and he said the team would probably need time to gel.

I don't think he's trying to be vague on purpose. The staff just aren't sure how they'll fit together just yet nor do they have a good idea on what roles each guy will play. We're will not know until they actually play together. Demps and Williams has came out on multiple occasions showing their excitement for all the new individual talent that was acquired but has always tempered that excitement with the uncertainty of the fit and chemistry. It may take as little as 0 games like the Rockets of last season or it could take half a season to a season. A lot of unknowns right now even if the talent is all there.

Yeah, it wasn't an attempt at being deceptive, it just felt like I wasted my time because there was no new information. The offseason just doesn't end
