Yeah, everything will be a bit screwy with such a small sample size and so many undefeated teams. I'm expecting it to even out to something very realistic around week 6-8

Why wouldnt you make a system that changes accordingly based on sample size so it isnt a joke at the beginning of the season?

Never understood this with some of the formulas out there

You sound very stupid.

For a system that doesn't have eyes, these rankings are ok for week 2.

tuba's rankings on the other hand...

Uh, suggesting a dynamic formula that changes based on sample size so you dont get UCF as the #6 team in the country makes me sound very stupid?

Well alright then

Changes accordingly based on sample size? I'd still have the same rankings but with less space between teams...unless you have any ideas of how to do so to get teams that've played bullshite games in.

Is UCF's ranking really that absurd? They are (3-0) with two of those being away wins, one of those away wins against Penn State. Apply that to any "BCS" team, and a #6 ranking would make sense. Perception means nothing in this formula.

You aren't even reading your own system right. Ole Miss is #17. They are ranked at the top of tier 2. UCF is ranked 31.

Look at their points. The pod system is simply a guide of how strong an opponent is, not the ranking itself.

So A&M is one of the lowest ranked teams in the country?

46th, yes. Two home wins against rice and Sam Houston state are not impressive.
