I went to the Toulouse and Marseille match yesterday.

Twas pretty awesome, despite the fact that a good 30% of the stadium is under contrsuction for Euro '16.
One thing I took away, even though Mathieu Valbuena had a pretty off game, he was still really good.

And yeah, Valbuena or "le petit velo" (the little bicycle) as they call him, is one of the most underrated players around, imo. He's now what makes France tick, and he's always proven his detractors wrong.

Yeah, we went all over. The Capitol was really awesome.
We met some locals at a bar right next to the main canal (Some Irish pub) that took us around to all the local spots.
The game was the highlight of the trip though. Toulouse really played well considering the gulf in talent.

I figured I would use the extra money on expensive beer...turns out that a beer was only 2 euros.

I was pretty surprised. It must not have been the norm though, because I got three at different times before the game and another when I went to my seat, and when I went back at halftime for another all the kegs had been floated.
