I saw weaknesses in both those teams. LSU defense is way better than both those teams. Mettenberger going to have a field day like he did last night. TAMU/Bama both gave up over 40. LSU going to kick all that arse.

Our D is a big ? mark as well, if we're honest with ourselves. Lets see...

Bama gave up 646 yds of total offense - all but 66 yds to JFF...

Most points ever given up by Bama in a win.

the team to beat in the sec is georgia. i think everyone already knows this. the REAL problem is that we will have to beat them TWICE.

Please edit your post to be less specific.

Thanks.

Florida has a good defense. I have a hard time believing LSU will cruise to victory. It won't be as easy as everyone is making it out to be.

A&M has a legitimate shot to hang 40-50 on us. Bama's D is better than ours. Not saying I like them better than ours, but there it is.

We need to establish a lead and control the clock to keep Aggie O on the sideline where they can do no damage.

Anyone that thinks we can house Bama and A&M is bogarting the Kool Aid.

brilliant analysis after playing three incredibly shitty teams, none truly in the other team's house.

While I would love for all of this to be true, you can't just extrapolate from what happened against Kent State to what will happen against Alabama. Does their defense have some vulnerabilities? Sure. But their talent and coaching are exponentially better than some MAC team (I can't believe I am even having to type this). If you don't think Saban and company will tighten up some of the lapses they showed yesterday, you are kidding yourself. Plus, as good as Mettenberger has looked (and it has been really encouraging), he doesn't bring the mobility to the table that Manziel does and that gave Bama trouble.

A&M, on the other hand, is a different story. I think their defense genuinely IS bad. I think we could put 50 on them. Let's just hope we can hold them to 49...

Bama's D may not be better then owers they lost a ton from last year. We have more experience at corner. Mills freshman all american both corners were freshman all sec(mills and Collins). Our D line With ego, and freak, rasco, and Alan are equal to or better then Bama's!

If we successfully control the ball and the clock, I agree.

I disagree. They lack a consistent pass rush and their CBs are not as good as they have been in years past. They were unimpressive against VTech and were undressed yesterday in a winning effort. I am not writing Bama off, but to say their D is better than LSU's is just basing it off of the past and name only. The jury is still out for both teams.
