Thoughts on the Chargriller Kamado Acorn smoker/grill?

Bought one today and never really smoked anything before. No way I could spen 2x as much on a BGE so this seemed like the best alternative.

Start with a Boston butt..........very forgiving.
And invest in a good meat thermometer.

If you wanted a true smoker you probably should have looked at something like a weber smokey mountain. If you wanted a grill you can smoke on from time to time, a kamado style will work.

Dude I've got a BGE. Im well aware of what you can do with a kamado. I wouldnt buy one to use primarily as a smoker though
