It really has more to do with the advisor than the broker dealer. Ray J is a good independant broker dealer, but if the advisor sucks then there you go.

I have my retirement with my local Raymond James rep, but he is also a personal friend, so I went to him because I knew him. Not sure I would have picked them if not for that, but I'm happy with the service I get.
