TCU looked like a John L coached team tonight.

For some reason he's rooted in Ft. Worth. I bet he wishes he took one of those other offers right about now

I would imagine so. I mean, Arkansas just hired a coach who went 8-5 in the Big 10 last year.

Even harder to beat your own mistakes. And TCU made a ton of them tonight. Hell what did they have?? Double digit false starts??
Not to mention his demeanor on the sideline. It just seemed off to me.

Somebody will still give him a look, and he'll still say no.

The refs stopped at least four drives where Texas tech could have easily put up a ton more points. Did you even wath the game?

Looking at the stats and the turnovers and penalties, and considering there was a board worth of bad call threads, I'm gonna say TCU is fine considering they are playing with their backup QB

They also took away 2 huge punt returns for TCU, one of which was a TD, on phantom calls and screwed them out of turnovers on back to back plays.

Both teams were sloppy but the refs were atrocious IMO.

Patterson has NOTHING to do with the offense... defensively they had a great game.

I don't care either way and had no rooting interest but you'd have to be a Tech homer to say TCU wasn't getting screwed. Even after they reviewed the fumble they made a bad call. It was like the refs did it just to laugh at how they would react

"Hey let's actually review this so Patterson has hope it'll get overturned. It'll be hilarious"

Yeah I didn't get the "review" at all. It was clearly a fumble and they took about 5 minutes to look at it and then came out and said "Oh yeah we couldn't review that BTW, so it's 2nd down."

Add that in to all the other calls that went against TCU that were questionable, at best, and you have yourself a good old fashioned frick job.

That was some of the worst football I have ever seen play. The TCU secondary was the one bright spot on the field, minus that, both teams in every other facet of the game were absolutely atrocious. I don't know which was more inept, the Tech Offense, the Tech defense, or the TCU offense. Even the special teams were miserable. How many penalties did the TCU offense have, anyone know?

Both teams were so bad, the refs pretty much were the deciding factor in the game.

Defense was fantastic and that's what he is known for. That offense was horrid though.

people outside of DFW dont know the whole story with Patterson and why hes so loyal to TCU

about 8 years ago some big donors gave him some land outside Fort Worth as part of his contract. well its sitting on the barnett shale and he has all the mineral rights and they've been drilling on it for the past 5 years. hes basically made millions and will continue to for years to come so he owes TCU a shite ton. its pretty well known in the metroplex and we are talking about a shitload of land.

so he has all the money he can spend and likes where hes at
