OSU story making LSU fans rally around Miles?

From boards and comments on the various OSU stories on the web I get the sense that LSU fans by a large margin are rallying around Miles. As in even fence straddlers are picking up the gauntlet for our coach.
LSU fans seem to be the hardest on our own but noone else is allowed to pick on our guy. This might end up a watershed moment for coach Miles finally getting all the LSU fan support he deserves.

Don't care for Miles, but not for a second have I ever thought (nor would I have believed) he was dirty.

Understood but my point is this could end up being great to bring the LSU family around Miles once and for all. I'm sick of national media still saying Miles hasn't won us all over comments 8 years into this thing.

That's because everyone here knows Miles character.... We may like to be Monday morning Quarterbacks and question some of his calls. Never his character

It's not the validity of the articles or obvious lack thereof I'm speaking to but moreso the us vs. them rally mentality and Les is a part of us. Him getting picked on in a hatchet job will inevitably align more LSU fans with him IMO.

^^^This, Anyone who was an LSU fan during the 80's and 90's knows how good things have been under Miles.
