Remaining an LSU fan while attending a rival school

I've been an LSU fan my whole life because my dad went there but I recently started going to school at the University of Florida. I don't know whether I should root for the gators or the tigers and it's conflicting. Ofcourse, I could root for both of them except they play against each other all the time.
Any advice? Has anyone been in this same predicament?

I do it all the time. I have attended several colleges in state and out. I cheered for the Tigers every weekend.

So when Florida starts winning again you'll sport Florida gear and vice versa?
You can only be a true fan to 1 team but you like like others... This rule does not include Florida, Ole Piss, Bama or USCw if you're an LSU fan though.

Your loyalties need to stay with LSU. You were raised a Tiger and you need to stay a Tiger. Im up here in Montana Griz and Montana Bobcat country and everybody up here knows that Im a Tiger. Now granted I don't go to their schools like you being at Florida but you need to sticke to your raising.

I'm a Tiger fan through and through. My oldest son went to U of Florida like yourself. My youngest to OK State. I pull for all of them unless they are playing LSU. I traveled from Florida to Dallas for the LSU TCU game. I meet up with at least 7 people I know that graduated from UNO that are LSU fans. Follow your heart and know that it's not a problem pulling for more than one team but ultimately you probably have to pick one.

I was big LSU fan and went to Ole Miss, my brother even played for LSU when I was there and I played a Spring for Ole Miss on kickoff team. I pulled for both teams and still do until they play each other, then it is tough.

If I would have had my brothers size and speed it would have been all LSU, but they just didn't really need that many little slow white boys then. (Even though I would have kicked his arse in high school ball, 10x as mean and tough.

I went to another SEC school and stayed and LSU fan. It can be done.
