Should I make this trade?

I have MJD and would trade for Dez
My RB's are AP and Sproles
Receivers are D Thomas, Garcon

I'm interested in what people have to say about this. Guy in my league is telling me that I would need to give up AJ Green or Dez to get MJD. I was hoping that he was panicking, and I could buy low. Does this seem like the right value?

You mean further down the bench I assume. Wallace at WR and Pierce at RB

They were drafted roughly around the same position, so I don't think it's crazy lopsided one way or the other, but I personally wouldn't give up Green/Bryant for MJD.

I offered the trade because when the guy said he was loaded at WR and needed a RB. I'm concerned though because I think MJD could blow up. Contract year. But the Jags really suck

Personally I'm keeping MJD. I can understand the infatuation of Dez, especially on this board (though I don't share the same sentiment), but I would rather have MJD in my flex than Garcon. Also if one of your backs go down, you're screwed.

I agree if a RB goes down it would be bad, but I would be loaded at WR

If you want him go for it, but I'm not sure that you need him. I wouldn't feel comfortable at all running with Pierce as my 3rd back. If one of your backs were to go down, your back would be against the wall and you may have to settle for something of lesser value. At the same time, you'd be in same predicament all over again after a trade with Pierce still running as your 3rd option... and you're weaker at WR.

Not trying to scare you... just wanted to throw out possible scenarios for you to think about before you make a move.
Who knows, AP and Sproles plays a full 16 games, you acquire Dez who has another great year, MJD belly flops, and you do great in your league. At the end of the day it's your team... you do what you want with it. GL

i just started thinking how good I am at RB. AP, MJD and Sproles. Plus I'm decent at WR with D. Thomas and Garcon with Wallace on the bench. Gonna roll with em
