yes, very wide range of tastes with genres containing:

folk, zydeco, punk rock, pop rock, acid rock, swamp pop, funk, jazz, swing, ska, reggae, grunge, metal, hard rock, country, southern rock, blues, metallic blues, glam rock, cajun, classical, indie rock, psychedelic rock, college rock, 90s alternative, ect

I like to look at this question as what I didnt know when my taste was being shaped. As I meandered through life I would hear songs or musicians that would later be affirmed as critically acclaimed songs.

I recall a deep love of the Beach Boys when I was a kid, even spoke about it in a frosh speech class without very much knowledge of where they stood in history.

I recall hearing "a change is gonna come" and thinking how amazing that song is without any knowledge that it was one of the most reverred songs of all time. Same thing with "here comes the sun" without even knowing it was a beatles song. All those Spector tracks really blew me away and never really knew who was behind it until I began really studying catalogs.

Even younger I recall high school friends ragging on me because I loved Elton John becauase he was gay. I didnt care it was just amazing music to me.

As I got older I used "greatest of all time" list to find music I like so it became harder to know what kind of influence that.
