They want to build one as part of a development on Airline, near the new Woman's Hospital. They were saying sometime in 2014, but they haven't started any construction yet.
I know there was talk that Rouses would come in strong and open three stores in metro BR at the same time....

I heard it was going to be in the Long Farm shopping center between Highland and Barringer Foreman. Maybe not though.

Lol at leblancs and Alexander's being greater than rouses. Maybe some of the old rouses. I have seen the renderings of what is planned for the airline location of Rouses and I promise you this, when it opens this board will be going nuts over what Donny and the clan open here. It is state of the art, unlike anything this city has ever seen! Their plan is to out do themselves many times over compared to their most modern store that is currently open.

Lol hen does have some nice p laces, the plus stores are sweet but the smaller ones remind me of NPR piggly wiggles, like the ones orange, and a couple of the port Arthur and Beaumont stores..

HEB has cities infinitely larger than all o the ones in Louisiana to gather customers from and a few decades of history too, so don't try to compare the two.

Yes really. I was calling on several buyers at their corporate office around that time and expressed excitement that they were coming to br. I was told by everyone that it was just a rumor and at that time they were not expanding much past Mobile.

I wish they would first bring the existing ones up to the same level. They have some outstanding rouse's. And then some Sav-a-center's with the Rouse's name. I have the latter.

It's not even really a comparison.

HEB is literally 15x better than Rouses
