Bright Light Social Hour
Sons of Fathers (Americana, based in San Marcos but local enough)
Band of Heathens
My Jerusalem (Okkervil's drummer used to play with them)
Shinyribs (lead singer is also the front man of The Gourds)
And of course, Okkervil River (but not because Will Scheff is an exceptional songwriter...only because I'm currently banging everyone in the band, including Lauren)
