We live in a society that takes whatever is reported and runs with it.

Despite Thayer Evans is a PROVEN liar.

This is the problem. One person writes an article, and every outlet and network then reports it.

The average viewer is too lazy or dumb to differentiate between fact and allegation, and the outlets do nothing to assist in drawing the line between the two.

It's a libelous game of telephone by way of headline, and it goes far beyond sports media.

This is the relatively harmless version compared to what we see from the media in the political and legal arenas.

Its the OC's damn fault for making him throw it fifty times and only giving Richardson like 13 carries

IIRC Weeden was a millionaire already from his MLB bonus money. He wanted the opportunity at CFB and didn't need the money.

Ok maybe Weeden should not be the spokesperson for trying to deny the allegations of wrong doing at Ok St. Just from that interview it kind of sounded like he might have needed help in the classroom!!!

I think that leads into questions of his intelligence. The correct response would have been "I obviously can not speak to allegations made prior to my arrival on campus"

Personally after listening to his interview, I question how he graduated!!!

Hey, Dez Bryant was 2nd team Academic All Big 12 in 2008. If he could stay in school there anybody could.

And ESPN et al have yet to report that all the other players at OSU say the allegations are laughable and the writer is a douche bag...

That is another stupid comment he made in his interview. How about "during my down time if I am looking for a little light comical reading, I might read another piece of the report."
