Weren't people trading for Thompkins a week ago?

Pats WRs are too hard to predict.

It's just going to give people fits, IMO.

We should note that Thompkins led New England in targets last week.

He had 14 total, 5 more than Edelman 's 9 targets

Dont sleep on him

I'm wondering if they might use Edelman in the Vereen role

Well people want Edelman because he got 9 targets last week AND Amendola played. So you'd think without Amendola he'd have at least 12 targets. 14 targets to Thompkins and only catching like 5, is not a good sign for him. I think he'll be a stud at some point, but I can easily see him getting 10 targets and Edelman being around 15 this week.

It's more of a good sign than a bad one

a rookie playing in his first game, and he looked his way 14x's?

It reminds me of Alfred Morris first game against the Saints last year. He averaged like 3.6 YPC but people failed to realize they gave him the ball 28 times in his first professional game. I think it is more of a sign of things to come

He had a couple that were catches but he had a foot OOBs and a couple Rookie drops, but i those are correctable mistakes and they need him to correct them

I think he still is productive this year
