It just dropped today for 360, coming out later this afternoon for PS3. Anyone downloaded it yet?

I probably won't get to mess with it any until tomorrow.

Here's some info from Operation Sports. (Eight teams? That's a surprise.)

Have to have cannon fodder on the demo. Plus, the rosters were set before Bale's (and Clint Dempsey's) move

Downloaded it yesterday on PC.

Yeah, you'd think that they'd want to throw the CL champions into the demo

On the bright side, Gundogan and Marco Reus are fricking animals. So, the demo did the Bundesliga some justice

I've already dropped Messi. Barcelona is Neymar's team now.

Digging the new ball physics in this demo.

Everything else is basically the same, but I'll still drop the cash for it in two weeks. My only yearly video game purchase now that the NCAA franchise is dying.

Not a huge fan of the way it plays so far. It seems a bit more realistic but plays rather slow on passes. I never play the CPU, so I'm not sure if it does back line traps perfectly or not, but I feel like offsides happen a bit more than I'm used to. First touches are a lot better.

They added a few features regarding chemistry for FUT. You can try that out with a stacked team they give you.

I'd like to say that it's because attackers make better runs, but I didn't play 2013 enough to comment intelligently.

On their own. Absolutely.

I'm having a hard time scoring on Legendary. I've had a lot of 0-0 draws because I can't get a clean shot off. Always a deflection somewhere. On World Class, I don't have this problem.

However, I'm pleased to see the CPU actually clear the ball when there's pressure instead of dribbling or short passing out of it. Now I don't feel bad at all when I have to clear of.

How's the momentum mechanic or whatever they were talking about? Basically guys used to only be able to turn at 22.5 deg angles or something but now they have a full range of motion that will be limited by their athletic skills?

have they fixed perfect long (30-50 yard) passes?

there is one thing that absolutely infuriates me about fifa nowadays, and that's how a team on defense can get a pass near the box and then whip out a laser pass perfectly to a ST/CF past midfield

it really hurts trying to play possession ball online, because any speedy ST/CF and a speedy wing will end up fricking you over, at least once. i've gotten back to 60-65% possession and if i lose the ball, even in the corner, i'm looking at having to play perfectly or risk ronaldo/messi burning me with ease

Yeah the huge gripes with the CPU play (I dont play online) on 12 from me were:

- CPU defensive clearances right to a teammate
- your other 10 players NEVER contesting for a loose ball
- stoppage time BS goals
- laser precision tackling by the CPU/lack of fouls (have been playing this game for almost 2 years now and have had the CPU get a total of one red card in that time)
- your guys getting completely cleared out on loose balls and no foul
- the randomness of winning headers
- how there is no middle ground between smart player and completely retarded player (no I dont want you to switch off from your man to nobody when the ball is in the air)

you're right. i forgot how amazing the CPU is at clearing out perfectly to a teammate 50-60 yards away

playing a lot online, there is a way to win headers...sometimes i play guys who are experts at it. i've never gotten the hang of how to do this, exactly. those guys are dangerous as frick. almost an auto-goal every corner

one thing online that's really become a problem is the inability to push your offense way up top. at the higher levels, once a team gets a ball they sit on it on the backline and keeper and it's basically impossible to get the ball back. i've seen teams waste 60 minutes of play with a 1-0 lead doing this

In this demo, I've seen very few of these. I've also seen the computer clear it out of bounds on purpose on the highest difficulty.
