I worked the Destrehan Dutchtown game Friday. Very impressed with him. Nice delivery, accurate, cannon, and surprisingly mobile for his size. Was biggest player on field for both teams. Dutchtown wanted no part of tackling him down the stretch. He eventually cramped up when game was beyond reach and Destrehan left in backup. I was very impressed with Destrehan as a whole. Won't be surprised if they make it to the dome. The RB #21 was a monster. He had powerd and shiftiness. WR and PR #1 very elusive too. Whoever signs Isom is getting a steal. I haven't seen Harris play but if he's better than Isom, damn. Hope the coaches evaluated these 2 right.

Are you kidding me? Most I've met are blonde and in shape.

isom is certainly a d1 talent. i think harris will work well at lsu, but isom fits the mett mood well with more athleticism. just don't see it happening in this class. solid football player.

Alfred smith is #1.......great athlete. the next damaris johnson type player out of destrehan. they seem to churn those type of players out all the time.

what did you think of #33 (kirk merit)?

Kelvin York, Eddie Lacy's RB teammate at Dutchtown, wound up at Utah the long way around.

I saw them play Friday night too. They just dismantled Dutchtown on offense and defense. This isn't a Landon Collins/Eric Reid Dutchtown team by any stretch, but I hadn't seen them get just humiliated like that in a long time. The whole Destrehan team is legit. They are a dark horse to win 5A if anything happens to the usual suspects.

It was like a Playoff game for them, then?
