With Messi's level of motor skills, I seriously doubt he has any autism spectrum disorder, based on my experiences with people with PDD.

I coached middle school soccer for a couple of years. Had a goalie who had Aspergers. He was fairly athletic but not cut on a dime type athlete. He was a goalie but he was terrible because he pretended to be the Russian dude from Call of Duty while shooting a fake machine gun while in goal

I laughed my arse off every day at practice. That dude was my favorite. He used to tackle the shite out of people and run to give me a high five. Really smart kid, hope he's doing well.
