Thanks for sharing the photo FlyingTiger.

I was on the phone with Gulf Coast Aerial Mapping (GCAM) on Friday about buying some large aerial photos of Tiger Stadium and/or LSU campus.

They have a pretty sweet deal going there.

Check them out at www.gcam-maps.com, or call them at (225) 355-9722. Ask for Todd.

We have a 30 x 36 photo at our conference room from 2004. It generates alot of conversation when we have visitors.

Hoping to get a more recent shot of just the stadium. They have one of the 2010 Tennessee game with the band on the field spelling out

Apparently, it is becoming a nightmare to get approval for a flyover by any aircraft on gameday for security reasons.

5,000 not 500. We can fly at 500 feet, but not right through town.

I'd pay you $20 to fly over my house at 500 ft.

I'll chip in $20 if NG will tell me where he lives and I can come watch.

Being raised around Barksdale back during SAC days, I do remember water injection.

At LSU in late 70s, early 80s, I dated the daughter of a Lt. Colonel at Barksdale for a while. IIRC, he was a Buff navigator during Vietnam.

Went to spend the weekend there once and I wondered how anyone could sleep. Large jets taking off and landing all day and night. Also remember the hangars with tails hanging out of them, the doors had a cutout to fit around the fuselage.
