Me and my girl have done Commander's the past 2 years for restaurant week and are doing it again this year. They have one of the best menus considering the variety you can choose from and how good their food is.

Damn, that August menu looks solid.

Not in love with the Apolline menu. Need to pick one for Thursday.

Commander's probably the best option as they give you a ton to choose from. I've done that one twice.

But August looked too good to pass up this year.

Is the Pelican Club nice?
Glad I came over here and saw this, want to take my gf somewhere nice Wednesday before her surgery.

I went to Pelican Club last year during restaurant week and I did not enjoy my meal... nor did anyone else at my table.

After the Crillo pictures the other day, I'm definitely going to try to make there.

I saw they offered lobster on their menu and though for $3 extra, a 3 course meal with lobster for $38 didn't sound half to bad.

My best option might be Commanders Palace, but was trying to look for somewhere I haven't been (which is about the only place on the list) that was offering a great menu

I've been to Pelican Club 3 times in the last couple of years. The first time, I loved it. The 2nd time was just good. The last time is was mediocre.

I LOVED Criollo and I'm going back Friday for lunch. 3 courses for $20 there is a STEAL!

Are any of the places kid friendly? I have seen little kids at Commander's before, and they will even make chicken nuggets and fries for them, but I wanted to try a new place.
