Falcons OL got beat for pressure on 21 of 42 dropbacks. Worst in league. By comparison Bengals beaten 3 times on 34 passing plays.

Cameron Jordan had a MONSTER day.

His rating in PFF is downright absurd.
It's really rare.

Have to say, D-line looked awesome. I just hope the injury to Walker and Foster aren't bad. I'd hate to see this momentum slowed by injuries .
Jordan, Hicks were beasts out there and Jenkins stepped right in and played well.
Galette was monstrous. Dude had his hair on fire.
Parys was impressive for only being here a week and a half.

Depth. Guys coming out of no where making plays. Undrafted FA's, 2nd year, 3rd year guys... They did great getting to Matt Ryan. We had a few coverage sacks too (I'm counting the ones Ryan threw away as sacks here).

My game ball went to the D-line and it looks well well deserved.
On the last play I thought it was only KV making the play but it was Cam putting the pressure on Ryan forcing a weak backfoot throw.

Haralson was impressive for just a week in town- the perfect example of veteran experience. After it's all said & done I'm betting Niner fans will be calling his trade for a 7th a big mistake. Not so much what he left there but what he is bringing to a competing contender.

I'm thinking Bunkley's injury will be the door of opportunity that John Jenkins is gonna bust down. He was high on my list of hopeful draftees. I'll go so far to say he could easily end up being a much larger NFL star than he ever was at GA.

Jordan looks flat out ready to step up to dominate All pro level. Not every HOFer starts their career off on fire. He was graded as an elite 3-4DE out of Cal. The Saints took him at #24 even as a mismatch to the 4-3 cuz he was just that good of a baller. Put him in a 3-4 and his skill set jumps off the screen.

A solid pash rush is the single most missing component over the past few years. If they get 40+ sacks I'd bet money on getting a #1 seed in the playoffs. 3 in Game 1. 3 x 16= 48.

I would add Hicks with all the hype. He wasn't as consistent as Jordan but there were plays where he looked to be was tossing people off of him like rag dolls.

If D-line play keeps up like that it will mask our shallow depth at OLB

I wouldn't go that far. It's more a commentary of how stacked the 49'ers are on defense. They don't really miss him.

My interpretation of what he said is not that the Niners will miss his production but that the Niners upgraded a potential hazard team that could be an obstacle for them getting to the SB
