I respect your opinion but being a vet you know in your heart you would not want someone in combat having your back, but maybe you have not experienced several tours in combat.

Haha dude WTF? Why do you keep trying to bring up combat? Hes not in the military. Hes a football player. I want him on the field for my team. Thats for sure.

And like somebody else said, its amazing hes gotten this far in his life.

Thanks for your service, but we are talking about football, not military. And since its football, id rather have him on the field than you.

See, it goes both ways.

Mathieu played 2 years for LSU and LSU gave him 2 years of free education. He doesn't owe LSU anything else and LSU doesn't owe him.

I don't know why you guys think it is some great privilege bestowed upon players to play football at LSU. Its simply a business transaction.

You people need to get a life and quit living vicariously through a bunch of kids playing a freaking game.

Was tyrann high during the game when he was making plays? No.. Did he smoke recreationally along with 75% of the student body? Yes. Are those same people throwing stones? Yes. Throwing stones while high on their couch? Probably

And if your an old timer that hasn't ever smoked and think you have a right to tarnish tyrann. Your grandson and your granddaughter... They probably smoke

TMathieu isn't embarrassing.
You kids acting like Justin bieber groupies in a private concert every time the guys name is mentioned is what's embarrassing.

To make matters worse some of you are stupid enough to say with him we beat Alabama... Yet you still act like he is Santa Claus.... I want to beat Alabama more than I want to cheerlead a former player that got the boot bc of his own stupidity.
That's just e though.

It's the damnedest logic I've ever seen.

What? Even if it's like a business transition like you think - it's a privilege to play football at LSU in that environment.

Football is entertainment. He provides a lot of it when he plays. I guess everyone needs a life though. Everyone should turn the computer and tv off and listen to their wives b*tch for three hours for fun.

TM7 might have some problems, but at least he's not brainwashed into thinking the US military fights for freedom.

His ability to strip the ball is unreal. I have never seen anyone do that like him.

The fact that this thread is not simply about how awesome that play was is, well, sad.

What? How do you know? I have seen blithering idiots do just fine and the most dedicated and disciplined soldier I know was taken by an IED.

Could have left it at that.
